Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own the Windows server estate across on-prem, virtual, and cloud environments. You will design, upgrade, and operate AD, Azure/M365, and Exchange Online services, with a focus on security, automation, and reliable backups.

This role emphasizes hybrid identity, PAM, and a customer-first mindset, with opportunities to mentor others and influence IT strategy at multiple sites globally.

Qualifications

• Experienced in Windows Server architecture and Active Directory across on-prem, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Hands-on with Entra ID Conditional Access and MFA at scale.
• Backup and recovery design and testing across hybrid environments.
• Strong automation and integration skills (PowerShell, Python; API-driven workflows).
• Familiarity with AI tools and responsible adoption in IT operations.
• Customer-focused mindset with willingness to mentor and lead on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Design, upgrade, and operate the Windows server estate across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Manage AD hygiene, sites, OUs, GPOs, and domain controllers; ensure secure, scalable directory services.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 & Azure services, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and security integrations.
• Implement and enforce Identity & Access Security policies, PAM, and MFA at scale.
• Govern virtualization, DFS and file services; guide modernization toward hybrid or cloud-ready solutions.
• Own backup and recovery plans; test restores and align with RPO/RTO targets.
• Drive automation, APIs, and AI-assisted improvements; contribute to cost stewardship.
