Job summary
Hollingsworth & Vose is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and modernize our Windows server estate across on-prem, virtual, and cloud environments. You will design AD hygiene, enforce security and identity controls, and manage Azure/M365, Exchange Online, and mail security.
You will lead upgrades, implement PAM and Entra ID policies, and drive automation with PowerShell and Python while coordinating with US mill sites and international locations.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience in on-premises and cloud environments.
- Experience designing and owning enterprise Windows Server, AD, and identity security.
- Strong automation, scripting, and integration skills with PowerShell and Python.
Responsibilities
- Architect, install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows servers across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
- Lead upgrades, migrations, and rollout plans with end-to-end execution.
- Operate Active Directory end-to-end, with focus on hygiene and security.
- Configure and manage Azure/M365 services, Exchange Online, and mail security.
- Design and enforce Entra ID Conditional Access policies and MFA at scale.
- Implement PAM and secure admin access across hybrid environments.
- Oversee on-premises virtualization, file services, and backup strategies.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, and APIs; integrate systems via event-driven patterns.
