RTX is seeking a Principal Windows Administrator in El Segundo, CA, requiring an active DoD security clearance. You will administer Windows and Linux systems, collaborate with Cybersecurity, and help define computing requirements for classified programs.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or a master’s with 3+ years. DoD certification like Security+ or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Must have an active transferable DoD Secret clearance prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment to resolve complex technical issues.
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on IT processes.
• Develop solutions and documentation for a variety of technical problems.
• Obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
