Job summary

Raytheon in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Principal Windows Systems Administrator to join our onsite team. You will provide IT systems administration across Windows and Red Hat Linux, manage storage appliances, and work with cybersecurity professionals to uphold security requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must have an active transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance prior to start date.
• Experience administering, maintaining and troubleshooting storage appliances (NetApp) and backups (Veritas NetBackup, Veeam).
• Experience with VMware virtualization and Windows administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Windows and Red Hat Linux environment.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Work with Cybersecurity to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training.
• Lead storage appliances management across all classified networks.
• Develop solutions and documentation for a variety of technical problems.
