Job summary

The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) is seeking a senior Systems Administrator to augment staff for two major modernization initiatives: Data Center Modernization and Mac to Windows Transition. You will support identity services, infrastructure, endpoint management, and workstation platforms across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities include planning, deployment, testing, documentation, and day-to-day ops, with onsite work in Salem and some remote flexibility as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows Server environments and AD/Entra ID.
• Proficient with DNS/DHCP and enterprise workstation deployment.
• Strong Group Policy and Microsoft 365 administration knowledge.
• Familiarity with Azure, Intune, and PowerShell scripting.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and troubleshoot issues.
• Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and device lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level systems administration for Data Center Modernization and Mac-to-Windows programs.
• Administer Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, DNS/DHCP.
• Support Intune, Group Policy, endpoint management, imaging, and deployment.
• Assist with migrations, identity modernization, and infrastructure modernization.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs; transfer knowledge.
