Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Windchill Technical Developer with 10+ years of hands-on PLM design, development, and support of enterprise Windchill solutions. The role emphasizes Java, Windchill APIs, TAM/OIRs, and workflow customization, with architecture guidance, technical leadership, and mentoring across teams.

This 100% remote U.S. position offers a competitive salary range of $130,000–$180,000 per year based on experience.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional Java development experience.
Extensive hands-on experience with PTC Windchill customization and platform development.
Expert-level Windchill Java API knowledge and customization frameworks.
Strong understanding of Windchill architecture, data model, lifecycle management, and workflows.
Experience with JSP, HTML, JavaScript and Windchill client-side customization.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java customizations within PTC Windchill.
Extend the Windchill data model by implementing TAM-based types and attributes.
Develop UI components including JSP, HTML, JavaScript, and UI extensions.
Build asynchronous processing using Windchill queues and scheduled tasks.
Design and implement complex workflow expressions and approvals.
Optimize application performance through profiling, caching, and JVM tuning.
Ensure all customizations follow PTС-supported development practices.
Lead modernization by migrating legacy customizations while maintaining compatibility.
Perform architecture and code reviews, and mentor development teams.
