Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Windchill Java Developer for a fully remote US-based role. The candidate will perform deep Windchill customizations using Java, PTC APIs, and TAM, contributing to services, listeners, and processors while maintaining upgrade-friendly designs.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of Java development with Windchill, strong knowledge of Windchill internals, and a disciplined engineering mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of Java development with Windchill focus.
• Deep Windchill Java API and customization frameworks experience.
• Solid Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow knowledge.
• Strong Java object‑oriented design and performance skills.
• Experience with JSP/HTML and Windchill client‑side customization.
• Hands‑on TAM experience.
• SQL skills with Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience supporting Windchill upgrades.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill.
• Extend data model with custom types and attributes using TAM.
• Build custom JSP and HTML extensions and UI components.
• Develop queues and background processes for Windchill tasks.
• Implement complex workflow expressions and robot delegates.
• Optimize performance of Java customizations via profiling and tuning.
• Follow upgrade-friendly customization practices and standards.
• Lead migration of legacy customizations to modern patterns.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with consultants to translate requirements into Java designs.
• Provide post‑go‑live support and triage incidents with teams.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Ten or more years of Java development experience

Windchill customization

Windchill Java API

Windchill data model

Java OO design

JSP/HTML/Windchill client-side customization

Type and Attribute Management (TAM)

SQL (Oracle/SQL Server)

Windchill upgrades

Troubleshooting and documentation
