Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Windchill Technical Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise PLM solutions using PTC Windchill.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java, Windchill Java APIs, PTC customization frameworks, workflows, lifecycle management, and platform extensions, with a proven ability to build scalable, upgrade-friendly, and high-performance PLM solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience with Windchill customization and platform development.
• Strong proficiency with Windchill Java API, customization frameworks, and extension mechanisms.
• Experience with JSP, HTML, JavaScript, TAM, OIRs, and workflow customization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java customizations within PTC Windchill.
• Extend Windchill data model using TAM for custom types and attributes.
• Develop UI components (JSP, HTML, JavaScript) and UI extensions.
• Build asynchronous processing via Windchill queues and scheduled tasks.
• Design workflow expressions, robot delegates, and lifecycle automation.
• Profile and optimize Java for performance and scalability.
• Ensure alignment with PTC best practices and upgrade readiness.
• Lead modernization initiatives and migrate legacy customizations.
• Perform architecture and code reviews for quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, and stakeholders.
• Provide production support and root cause analysis.
• Create technical docs and runbooks; mentor teams.
