Job summary

OnSite Partners is seeking a Wind Technician 1 in Findlay, OH to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility-scale wind turbines and related systems. The role involves tower climbs, working at heights, and exposure to varying weather conditions while ensuring safe, reliable turbine operation.

Under supervision, you will assist with preventive maintenance and corrective repairs, documenting findings and using CMMS for records. OSHA and safety certifications are emphasized in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Climb wind turbine towers (300+ feet) daily.
• Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Basic mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbines.
• Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Inspect and maintain turbine components.
• Perform tower climbs to access nacelle and hub assemblies.
• Assist with major component replacements under supervision.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and arc-flash safety procedures.
• Document findings and communicate issues to senior technicians.
• Use CMMS for maintenance records.
