Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Wind Technician to uphold safe and reliable wind farm operations. You will perform field-based equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and contribute to long-term reliability and profitability of turbines.

Under supervision, you will execute preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, and support safety programs while collaborating with internal teams to improve performance and safety across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED.
• Experience: 0+ years.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet.
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
• Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities and tooling.
• Applies basic understanding of the technical and process functions.
