Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Wind Technician III for the Sterling City, TX site. You will be on the front line maintaining wind turbine systems, performing diagnostics, and ensuring reliability and profitability of operations at the farm.

Responsibilities include safety policy execution, OSHA compliance, and collaboration with internal teams to improve maintenance and turbine performance. Relocation may be available and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED.
• Experience: 0+ years.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet.
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
• Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities and tooling.
• Manages own training schedules and meets all training requirements within designated time frames.
• Able to meet attendance requirements.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
