Job summary

EDP Renewables North America is seeking a Sr Power and Performance Improvement Engineer to enhance the availability, efficiency, and reliability of the wind and solar fleet in Houston, TX. You will provide broad technical support and promote best practices to achieve operational excellence.

The role involves leading process standardization, cross-functional collaboration, and RCA work with the Reliability team to drive performance improvements across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree desirable.
• 5-7 years of experience in a related field or 2-3 years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience with wind turbine systems and solar operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Improve wind turbine and solar site performance by addressing availability, production, and reliability issues.
• Lead standardization of operations, maintenance, and engineering processes.
• Coordinate cross-platform initiatives between European and North American fleets.
• Conduct root cause analysis with the Reliability team.
