Job summary

EDP Renewables North America is seeking a Project Development Coordinator in Houston to advance solar, wind, and battery projects and repowering efforts across our North American portfolio. You will coordinate across Legal, Accounting, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to move projects forward.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, eager to learn, with a bachelor’s in a related field and 0–2 years of project management experience in energy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Communications, Public Affairs or a related field.
• 0–2 years of progressively responsible project management experience in energy or a related industry.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (particularly Teams, Outlook, and OneNote).
• Basic knowledge of Arc GIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflows between the development team with legal, accounting, engineering, procurement, operations, and other departments.
• Research, organize and track project permitting requirements, and support permit application submittals and permit requirements.
• Support landowner and community outreach efforts and events.
• Obtain and review property owner legal agreements from the legal department.
• Proofread legal agreements prior to mailing to landowners and maintain documentation across departments.
• Input landowner, stakeholder and project data into internal software programs.
• Develop and maintain training manuals and programs for the development team.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Communications, Public Affairs or a related field
