Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking Wind Service Technicians – Level 2 to support preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on Vestas turbine systems. This role includes mentoring Level 1 technicians and reporting to the Site/Program Manager, with potential long-term site assignments and regional deployments.

Qualified candidates will have wind industry experience or strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic backgrounds, a valid driver’s license, and safety certifications such as GWO and

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Successful climb and rescue evaluation.
• 1 year wind industry experience or 3 years related mechanical/electrical/hydraulic experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on Vestas wind turbine systems.
• Work independently on mechanical and auxiliary electrical systems.
• Lead service crews of 2–3 technicians during maintenance.
• Assist with corrective maintenance and component replacements.
• Mentor Level 1 technicians and interface with customers and site stakeholders.
• Follow environmental health & safety procedures and document work.
