Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Wind Technician to support GE wind turbine operations in Oklahoma Hub 2. The role involves field maintenance, troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and reading schematics and manuals to ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic analysis, documenting reports in a computerized system, and traveling to multiple wind sites within the hub. Mentoring peers and adhering to safety protocols are expected.

Qualifications

• Wind turbine troubleshooting experience required.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings and manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Oklahoma Hub 2.

Responsibilities

• Execute contractual obligations and customer-required daily activities with site/hub leadership.
• Work on electrical and mechanical equipment used in GE wind turbine generators.
• Read, understand, and explain schematics, drawings, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable-pitch and variable-speed turbines.
• Document work using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Travel locally among all wind sites within Oklahoma Hub 2 and report to assigned sites.
• Mentor peers and support site operations with minimal supervision.
