Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking a Wind Construction Project Manager to lead the execution of utility-scale wind projects from handoff through commissioning. You will drive safety, schedule, and budget adherence while aligning with Pattern's standards and permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Alternatively, 10 years of relevant construction experience with competency.
• Experience in the power generation industry is required; utility-scale wind construction experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of wind construction projects, including EPC and turbine supply agreements and oversight of the owner's construction management team.
• Ensure work complies with contracts, schedules, budgets, permits, safety requirements, quality standards, and specs.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks; develop mitigation plans; issue notices; and escalate concerns.
• Administer major construction contracts, evaluate claims and change requests; maintain supporting documentation.
• Monitor contractor performance against schedule and budget; propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Environmental, Health and Safety, Permitting, Land, Engineering, Finance, Legal and Operations teams.
• Coordinate with external contractors, lenders, landowners, and government agencies to resolve issues.
• Provide day-to-day direction for site activities and engage SMEs as needed.
• Select and manage owner's engineers, specialty contractors, and site team members.
