Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking a Wind Construction Project Manager to lead the execution of utility-scale wind construction projects from handoff to commissioning. You will deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while complying with contracts, permits, and technical specs.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and travel within North America. Ideal candidates have at least six years in construction and project management, with wind experience

Qualifications

• At least six years of progressive experience in construction and project management; accountability for project financial performance.
• Experience in the power generation industry; utility-scale wind construction preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading multimillion-dollar projects on schedule and within budget.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, contracts, and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of construction contract concepts and project controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and risk-based decision-making skills.
• Ability to use project management software and industry-standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of utility-scale wind construction projects and oversee the owner’s construction management team.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, schedules, budgets, permits, safety, quality standards, and specs.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate material concerns.
• Administer contracts, evaluate contractor changes, and support commercial decisions.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to transition projects from pre-construction to operations.
• Provide day-to-day site direction and manage the owner’s site team.
