Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking a Wind Construction Project Manager in Albuquerque to lead end-to-end wind construction projects. You will drive safety, schedule, and budget compliance while overseeing EPC contracts and turbine supply agreements, ensuring quality and regulatory adherence.

The role requires at least six years in construction/project management within power generation, with travel 25-50% in North America. Strong stakeholder management and decision‑making skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• At least six years of progressive construction and project management experience.
• Experience in power generation; utility-scale wind preferred.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, contracts, and stakeholders.
• Strong written/verbal communication and risk-based decision making.
• Ability to use project management tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of utility-scale wind construction projects from handoff to commissioning.
• Ensure work meets contracts, schedules, budgets, permits, safety, and quality standards.
• Identify and manage project risks with mitigation and recovery plans.
• Administer major contracts, evaluate claims, and maintain project documentation.
• Monitor performance against schedule, budget, and obligations; propose actions.
• Coordinate with Environmental, Health & Safety, Permitting, Land, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
• Collaborate with external contractors, lenders, landowners, and agencies to maintain progress.
• Provide day-to-day site direction and engage SMEs as needed.
• Select and manage owner's engineers and site team members.
