Job summary

Truist in Greensboro, NC is seeking an experienced Credit Underwriter for Dealer Services portfolio management and complex commercial loans. You will lead underwriting, structure transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance while identifying risks and market trends.

You will also expand client relationships, mentor junior team members, and partner with Investment Banking for financing solutions. Ideal candidates hold a Finance degree with 5+ years of credit analysis experience, strong MS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field and at least 5+ years of related training and experience in commercial/Dealer Services credit analysis.
Mastery level proficiency with MS Office Desktop applications.
Strong interpersonal skills and solid written/verbal communication are essential.
Sound credit skills essential.
Must have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Underwriting: leads the entire commercial underwriting process with prospects and clients; structures and documents transactions.
Portfolio Management: monitors performance, defines credit solutions, and manages risk.
Client Calling Effort: expands client relationships through direct calling and solutions.
Subject Matter Expertise: collaborates with Investment Banking for financing solutions and stays informed on industry trends.
Deal Team Management: mentors junior staff and coordinates with Analysts and Associates.
Risk evaluation: ensures regulatory compliance and accurate risk ratings across portfolios.
