Job summary

Orion Marine Group is seeking a hands-on Wet Utilities Crew Supervisor in Houston, TX. You will oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of water lines, sanitary sewers, and storm drainage, ensuring safety and adherence to project specs.

You will lead trenching, pipe laying, and manhole work, coordinate with superintendents, read blueprints, and monitor quality while mentoring crew members to meet schedule and budget goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in underground wet utility construction.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and utility plans.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and schedules to assign tasks for wet utility installation.
• Supervise crew engaged in trenching, pipe laying, and manhole installation.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent on scheduling, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain daily reports documenting crew activities and progress.
• Train and mentor crew in safe work practices.
