Job summary

HR Green in Houston seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large water and wastewater infrastructure programs, guiding planning through construction, mentoring teams, and strengthening municipal and utility client partnerships.

You will oversee scope, budgets, schedules, risk, and quality, serve as Engineer of Record on major projects, and help grow HR Green’s Texas Water Practice while upholding our standards of safety and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with ability to obtain licensure in additional states.
• 15+ years of progressive water and wastewater consulting experience.
• Demonstrated success managing large, multidisciplinary water and wastewater projects.
• Strong experience overseeing project financial performance, resources, and risk management.
• Proven ability to develop long-term municipal and utility client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex water and wastewater projects from planning through design, construction, and closeout.
• Direct project strategy, scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, and execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Mentor engineers and project managers across multiple projects.
• Provide executive oversight of financials, resources, and risk management.
• Lead client relationships and business development within Texas.
