Job summary

Orion in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Wet Utilities Supervisor to lead on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems. You will ensure work adheres to drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards.

The role requires 7+ years in underground wet utility construction, strong leadership and communication, and ability to read blueprints. Expect long hours, varied shifts, and close collaboration with inspectors and the project team

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in underground wet utility construction (water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage).
• Leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews plans, specifications, and schedules to organize tasks for wet utility installation.
• Supervises crew members in trenching, pipe laying, manhole installation, backfilling and compaction.
• Coordinates with the Superintendent on scheduling, manpower, equipment, and material needs.
• Interprets blueprints, grades, and line elevations to ensure accurate installation of utilities.
• Ensures compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards on all projects.
