Job summary

Global Edge Group is seeking a Wellsite Manager for a client in the Upstream Oil & Gas sector, based in Minot, North Dakota. You will oversee all personnel on site and serve as the company representative, ensuring safe operations and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising wellsite activities, assisting in completion programs, reviewing AFE, reporting to engineers via WellView, and supporting the engineering team on design and production issues.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred with 8–10 years inspection experience in Oil & Gas.
• Exposure to completion operations: wireline, fishing, pressure pumping, TCP, pump-down operations.
• Demonstrated leadership with strong management, supervisory and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reporting with various systems.
• Current well control certificate.
• Familiarity with OSHA and EPA Health & Safety Regulations.
• Knowledge of local area regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe operating practices and ensure environmental, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Be the company representative on the well site and supervise all personnel.
• Demonstrate experience as a well site leader.
• Assist in engineering design of completion programs and fracture treatment plans for new drilling wells; prepare completion, testing and workover procedures.
• Ensure workover and completion operations meet best oilfield practices and company standards.
• Provide detailed timely reports to engineers via WellView and other software.
• Prepare written engineering well workover briefs for wellsite supervisors.
• Monitor all AFE for well work, perform economic backup and justification calculations for AFE submittals, and track expenditures.
• Review daily well production to optimize productivity.
• Support engineering team on completion designs, workover and fishing jobs, and production facility modifications.
