Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking a Staff Wells Analyst in Midland, TX to support the Permian Wells organization with data-driven decisions across drilling, completions, planning, scheduling and field execution. You will build dashboards and tools, collaborate with engineering, operations and leadership, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes data quality, process automation, and actionable insights to improve safety, efficiency, and reliability of operations in the Lower 48.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience supporting operations, engineering, data analytics, planning, scheduling, or process improvement.
• Experience analyzing large data sets and translating information into actionable insights.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using modern tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced operational and business analysis for drilling, completions, planning, scheduling, field execution, and overall Wells performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, visualizations, and analytical tools for engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
• Analyze data from multiple systems to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve planning, scheduling, and performance tracking processes.
• Design and implement workflow improvements and automation opportunities to boost efficiency.
• Maintain data standards, documentation, and quality assurance practices.
