Job summary

Vmfl Medical Centers Llc is seeking a Wellness Attendant to support senior wellness programs and foster a positive, engaging environment. You will assist with daily activities, help facilitate varied programs, and build meaningful relationships with participants to enhance their experience.

Responsibilities include organizing activities, maintaining records, preparing snacks, and ensuring safety and accessibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service and hospitality or related field.
• Experience working with seniors or in a wellness center environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a wellness setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Wellness Supervisor in organizing and implementing a diverse range of wellness and entertainment programs tailored to the interests and needs of senior members.
• Help facilitate group activities, exercise classes, cultural events, and recreational programs to promote physical health and social engagement.
• Build relationships with senior members, actively engaging them in programs and soliciting feedback to enhance their experience.
• Conduct informal assessments of members’ wellness needs and preferences to provide tailored assistance during activities.
• Maintain accurate records of participant attendance and individual progress for reporting and evaluation.
• Handle and serve snacks and refreshments, ensuring an adequate supply while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Ensure the wellness center is clean, safe, and accessible for seniors with varying levels of mobility and health conditions.
• Work closely with the Wellness Supervisor and other team members to create a cohesive and supportive environment for all participants.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices, ensuring the well-being of all members during activities.
