Job summary

VivaMas Westchester – Miami, FL is seeking a friendly Wellness Program Assistant to support a range of activities for senior members. You will help organize exercise classes, social events, and recreational programs while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.

You’ll build relationships with participants, collect feedback, and help track attendance and progress. A high school diploma and customer-service experience are preferred. Availability for evenings and weekends is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service and hospitality or related field.
• Experience working with seniors or in a wellness center environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Wellness Supervisor in organizing and implementing wellness and entertainment programs for seniors.
• Facilitate group activities, exercise classes, cultural events, and recreational programs to promote health and social engagement.
• Build relationships with senior members and solicit feedback to improve their experience.
• Conduct informal assessments of members’ wellness needs to tailor assistance.
• Maintain attendance records and track individual progress for reporting.
• Serve snacks and refreshments, ensuring hygiene and safety standards.
• Keep the wellness center clean, safe, and accessible for members with varying mobility.
• Collaborate with the Wellness Supervisor and team to create a cohesive environment.
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices during activities.
