Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to develop, monitor and coordinate the Engagement Program for our participants. You will work with the IDT to create personalized activity plans and ensure smooth operation of the day center with the Center Director.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, Activity Professional Certification, and experience in social recreational programs, plus CPR/First Aid certification within 180 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
• Activity Professional Certification required; an additional three (3) years of relevant experience may be substituted.
• Two (2) years of experience in a social recreational or educational program within the past five (5) years, one (1) year of which was full-time in an activities program in a health care or mental health program setting, working with frail elderly.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Engagement assessments to establish the social and therapeutic needs, preferences, and goals of the participants; participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plans.
• Develop a comprehensive Engagement Program including individual and group activities, and outings to meet diverse participant needs.
• Implement and supervise all activities of the WelbeHealth Engagement Program, monitoring for enjoyment, appropriateness, and safety.
