Zusammenfassung

The YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is hiring a Group Exercise and Active Aging Coordinator to lead diverse fitness programs for seniors and adults. The role focuses on health promotion, inclusive instruction, and community engagement.

You will assess participants, tailor activities, and collaborate with staff to organize wellness events while maintaining safety and accurate records. Training is provided by the Y.

Qualifikationen

• Must be certified in CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid (training provided by Y as needed).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Certification in group exercise instruction (ACE, AFAA, NASM) required.
• Experience with older adults and designing age-appropriate fitness programs preferred.

• Lead group exercise classes for seniors and adults.
• Promote active aging initiatives to improve physical, mental, and social well-being.
• Assess fitness levels and tailor programs to individual goals.
