Job summary

YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is seeking a Part-time Healthy Living Coordinator to assist in developing Healthy Living programs for youth and adults under the supervision of the Healthy Living Director.

You will recruit and supervise staff and volunteers, ensure safety standards, and help expand fitness offerings while upholding YMCA values. The role requires current CPR/First Aid certifications, physical fitness, and effective communication with participants and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• College degree or working towards degree in a health-related program preferred; must have high school education or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must stay current in CPR/PR/AED/O2 and First Aid, renewed annually.
• Mentally and physically capable of guiding group exercise and emergencies.
• Recruit new fitness employees to ensure qualified staff.
• Assist Director with Annual Healthy Living Trackers and incident reports.
• Monitor certifications for all fitness staff.
• Consult with members on personal training and expand group exercise programs.
• Work with volunteers for the Healthy Living program.
• Attend staff meetings and orient new staff to procedures.
• Develop relationships with members, donors and volunteers.
