Job summary

Franciscan Ministries is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to enhance the quality of life for residents through engaging activities and therapeutic engagement opportunities. The LEA will support the Life Enrichment department with administrative tasks and coordinate group and individual activities with a focus on the 7 dimensions of wellness.

The role requires strong communication, empathy, and the ability to motivate residents to participate in events.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to engage residents with empathy and positivity.
• Comfort with basic technology and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Promote and champion Life Enrichment services across the community.
• Encourage participation in daily activities and events.
• Assist with administrative tasks (calendars, phones, memos).
• Lead group and one-on-one activities.
• Escort residents to activities and appointments.
• Maintain organized engagement spaces; help set up and clean up.
