Country Meadows Retirement Communities in Hershey, PA is seeking an Activities Director to create engaging programs that enhance independence, wellness and resident fulfillment. You will lead Activities Associates to plan a balanced calendar of events that appeal to residents and support campus goals.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in group socialization, fitness, wellness or recreation programs.
• Certification in Activity Director or Fitness/Wellness preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local community and regional resources.
• Skills in training, directing and evaluating team and program performance.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required for this role.
• Must speak English sufficiently for job performance.

Responsibilities

• Organize activities that promote independence, fulfillment and purpose.
• Directs Activities Associates to plan a well-balanced calendar of programs and events.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to launch new initiatives.
• Lead a team to support daily operations and wellness practices.
