Job summary

New Communities, Inc. in Maine seeks an Activities Coordinator to organize wellness programs for residents at Pinewood Terrace.

You will participate in assessments and help set resident goals, promoting a caring, inclusive atmosphere that enhances quality of life for seniors. This full-time, day-shift role offers $16.00–$19.00 per hour, with benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, a 403(b) plan with 5% company match, and training

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Active Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Activities Coordinator Certificate and 40-hour CRMA preferred.
• Three years experience working with the disabled/elderly population preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in therapeutic recreation or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate wellness programs and activities for residents.
• Participate in the resident assessment process and help develop resident goals.
