Job summary

Bupa is seeking a dedicated activities coordinator to support residents across a range of care needs. You will plan and run daily activity sessions, tailor plans to individual preferences, and work within set budgets to enhance wellbeing and independence.

You will organise events, liaise with local partners, and help with meals when needed, while maintaining records and engaging with residents and their families to promote a vibrant, compassionate living environment.

Qualifications

• Creative thinker with budget management experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Interest in caring for others and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Run morning and afternoon activity sessions tailored to residents.
• Produce and update an activity planner within budget.
• Support residents and encourage participation.
• Organise birthday surprises for residents and co-ordinate events.
• Liaise with external companies for days out and events.
• Assist with breakfast, lunch and dinner duties when necessary.
• Organise one-to-ones with residents using reminiscence tools and chats.
• Update care plans and activity notes, manage emails.
• Support the home’s social media channels as required.
