Job summary

Moorhouse Care Home in Hindhead, Surrey is seeking a warm, part-time Wellbeing Coordinator Lead to design and deliver a calendar of activities that promote physical, mental and social wellbeing for residents.

You will work closely with the Home Manager, engage with residents to understand preferences, manage budgets, and keep families informed, while creating joyful experiences and building meaningful relationships.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in writing and verbally.
• Positive attitude toward residents and staff.
• Willing to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Activity Planning and Execution: Create a comprehensive Calendar of Events, including both group and one-to-one activities; arrange entertainment within budget; organise seasonal events.
• Resident Engagement: Liaise with the Home Manager to tailor activities based on residents' abilities and preferences; build relationships with residents.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain proper documentation for activities and budgets; communicate with families, residents, and care team.
• Flexible Schedule: Ensure residents have continuous access to enriching activities.
