You will translate theory into reliable software, collaborate with product teams, and work on gas migration and well-control projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• Minimum of four years of related experience.
• Experience applying engineering or scientific principles to models, simulations, products, or software workflows.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with technology leadership and collaboration with product teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced well-engineering models, numerical visualization methods, and optimization capabilities for well design and drilling.
• Translate research into tested, maintainable software capabilities.
• Design automated well-design and optimization workflows including AI-enabled methods.
• Support gas migration and well-control modeling with rigorous validation.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customers to define requirements and prioritize improvements.
• Document model assumptions, results, and limitations for stakeholders.
