The Senior Well Engineering Modeling & Simulation Technologist does researches, develops and advances engineering models, numerical simulation capabilities, optimization methods, and software‑based workflows for well design and drilling applications. The role strengthens Landmark’s technical capacity to support existing products and customer commitments while accelerating the development of next‑generation well‑engineering technologies.
Working across technology, product, software development, and customer‑facing teams, the technologist translates engineering theory and research into reliable product capabilities. Initial priorities may include gas migration and well‑control modeling for a major customer initiative and the development of AI‑enabled automated well‑design and optimization workflows. The role creates value by improving model quality, accelerating science‑to‑product transition, and providing continuity for specialized well‑engineering expertise.
