Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to lead welding quality across projects, writing and reviewing welding quality programs, supervising CWIs and Welding Inspectors, and approving WPS, PQR, and welder qualification packages. AWS SCWI is preferred; a CWI with eight or more years of documented inspection leadership will also be considered.

Candidate must demonstrate experience with AWS D1.1, D1.5, D1.8, ASME IX, and API 1104.

Qualifications

• Experience leading welding inspection teams across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes and inspection standards.
• Ability to develop and review welding QA programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans and NDT procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors; review reports and calibrate calls.
• Audit fabricators and erectors' welding quality systems; resolve disputed indications.
