Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to serve as the welding quality authority across projects. You will write and review welding quality plans, supervise CWIs and inspectors, and approve essential welding documents.

The role requires AWS SCWI or CWI with extensive leadership and strong code knowledge, including D1.1/D1.5/D1.8, ASME IX, and API 1104. You will audit fabricators, resolve disputed indications, and represent the company to engineers of record

Qualifications

• AWS SCWI or CWI with 8+ years of welding inspection leadership required.
• Strong command of AWS D1.1/D1.5/D1.8, ASME IX, API 1104.
• NDT Level II or III certification in at least one method preferred.
• Experience writing welding quality programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans and NDT procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors across projects.
• Audit and approve WPS, PQR, and welder qualification packages.
