Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to lead welding quality programs across projects. You will supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors, review WV/UWPS qualifications, and coordinate with engineers of record on welding matters.

The role requires AWS SCWI or a CWI with 8+ years of leadership, and deep knowledge of AWS D1.1/D1.5/D1.8, ASME IX, and API 1104. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• AWS SCWI or CWI with leadership experience
• Experience writing welding quality programs for structural/pipeline work
• Proven ability to supervise inspectors and coordinate with engineers of record

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans and procedures
• Supervise CWIs and Weld Inspectors across projects
• Audit fabricators and erectors' welding quality systems
• Witness or direct procedure qualification testing
• Represent the company in welding quality reviews
