Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to lead welding quality across projects. You will write and approve welding quality plans, supervise CWIs and inspectors, and coordinate with engineers and fabricators to ensure compliance with codes.

The role requires AWS SCWI or a CWI with 8+ years' leadership in welding inspection, plus strong knowledge of D1.1, D1.5, D1.8, ASME IX and API 1104. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• AWS SCWI or current CWI with 8+ years of leadership in welding inspection.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes and quality systems.
• Experience writing welding quality programs and procedures.
• Ability to supervise inspectors and coordinate with engineers and fabricators.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans and NDT procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors across projects and review reports.
• Audit fabricators and erectors' welding quality systems and approve qualification packages.
• Represent the company in welding quality reviews with engineers of record.
