Job summary

DNOW L.P. is seeking a Welder to perform complex welding tasks, fabricate and repair metal components, and ensure parts meet drawings and specifications. The role requires working with oxygen-acetylene, MIG, TIG, and plasma processes in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years welding experience or approved training program, or equivalent combination.
• Skilled in fabrication, joining and repair of metal objects and structures.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
• Knowledge of non-destructive inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of heat treating and thermal spraying.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex and precision welding techniques.
• Designs, fabricates, joins and/or repairs space age metals, scientific components using oxy-acetylene, arc, MIG and TIG welding.
• Welds parts and sub-assemblies to specifications or prints.
• Welds in controlled atmospheres, plasma welds and cuts.
• Welds high vacuum and high pressure systems.
• Operates drills, saws, grinders, and welding tools.
• Analyzes plans and orders to determine work requirements and sequencing.
