Job summary

DNOW in Tomball, TX seeks a skilled Welder to perform complex welding through oxygen-acetylene, MIG, TIG and plasma cutting, in a safety-focused environment.

You will read plans and specs, fabricate and repair space age metals and high vacuum/high pressure components, operate drills and grinders, and support continuous production with quality workmanship. Competitive salary with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Four years of welding experience or completed accredited program.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and applicable codes.
• Ability to read plans, drawings and work orders to determine requirements.
• Experience with high vacuum/high pressure systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex and precision welding techniques.
• Designs, fabricates, joins and repairs components using various welding methods.
• Welds parts to specifications from prints.
• Operates welding equipment and basic machine tools.
• Analyzes plans and orders to determine work requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
