Job summary

Dakota Systems, Inc. is seeking a Welder IV for our in-house machine shop in Dracut, MA.

The position demands a technical welding diploma and at least 6 years of experience in manufacturing settings, with strong arc and TIG welding skills and blueprint reading. You will interpret schematics, set up power supplies, and perform structural and specialized welds across stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum, while maintaining equipment and safety standards to ensure quality and customer

Qualifications

Requires technical diploma in welding and 6+ years of related experience.
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams and weld symbols.
Capable of performing TIG and arc welding in multiple positions.

Responsibilities

Performs electric arc, inert gas and heliarc welding in multiple positions on structural components.
Interprets blueprints, specifications and diagrams to determine welding processes and requirements.
Performs specialized TIG welds and structural welds as needed.
Maintains welding equipment and ensures proper setup of power supplies and parameters.
Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop.
