Job summary

Vital Link Inc. seeks a Welder III to fabricate and weld assemblies in a demanding environment, delivering finished parts to painting/shipping. The role emphasizes following shop drawings, proper documentation, and adherence to internal and AWS welding procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or minimum 8 years' welding experience preferred.
• Welding certification is preferred but not required.
• Must meet Vital Link welding tests/requirements.

Responsibilities

• Weld assemblies in accordance with shop drawings, and that the work routers are properly signed and dated.
• Maintain welding equipment and control welding electrodes, gas, and other supplies.
• Ensure all welds are in accordance with AWS standards and project specifications.
• Set up basic weldments to facilitate fast, quality welding and ensure safety practices are followed.
• Keep the weld-out area neat and report equipment issues to supervision.
