Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year welding program or qualified apprenticeship.
• HS diploma or equivalent (GED/HSED) plus 2 years welding experience.
• Ability to pass tig root and 7018 fill tests in 6-G position.
• Valid driver’s license.
• May be required to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform critical and routine welding to fabricate/repair plant machinery and equipment per ASME codes.
• Weld repairs using stick electrode or wire feed on carbon and stainless steel plates/pipes.
• Operate carry deck, stinger, JLG lift, forklifts, weld trucks, and portable welders.
• Read piping and structural blueprints and ensure tools/equipment are in working order.
• Hoist and move materials using appropriate equipment; perform other duties as assigned.
