Job summary

AMECO is hiring a Welder III for its Harrison, OH facility. The role involves welding, fabricating, and repairing components from drawings and samples. The candidate should be highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and ability to work overtime in a small team environment.

This is a day shift position based in Harrison, Ohio. Minimum five years of welding/fabrication experience and AWS D1.1/D1.5 certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Five years’ industrial/manufacturing welding and fabrication experience.
• Able to pass AWS D1.1 and D1.5 certifications in FCAW (3G & 4G), GMAW (1G, including spray transfer on heavy steel), and SMAW (3G & 4G).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve welding/fabrication issues.
• Experience working with jigs/fixtures for precision fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Weld, fabricate, and repair components from drawings and samples for high-precision projects and structural repairs.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior welders.
• Maintain positive relationships with team and internal/external customers.
• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and keep work areas clean and organized.
