Job summary

Vital Link Inc. is seeking a Welder III to weld assemblies per shop drawings, maintain equipment, and support painting/shipping. The role requires following work orders, maintaining material/part IDs, and adhering to ISO9000 policies.

The position operates in an outdoor open shop environment with variable weather and safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have strong reading of fabrication drawings, AWS-standard welding, and the physical ability for moderate to heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 8+ years' welding experience.
• Experience with welding to AWS standards.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and travelers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure welding of assemblies complies with shop drawings and work routers.
• Follow all steps and inspections per work orders and document accordingly.
• Maintain welding equipment and manage supplies.
• Ensure welds meet AWS standards and project specifications.
• Set up basic weldments to enable fast, quality welding.
