Job summary

Daifuku Automotive America Corporation is seeking a Welder / Fitter I in Reynoldsburg, OH to support production through fitting, tacking and MIG welding of steel components. You will read and interpret blueprints, set up welding equipment, and ensure welds meet specifications in a typical manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least five years of welding experience in manufacturing. AWS D.1.1 3G qualification is required or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years in manufacturing/fabrication welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Must be able to pass AWS D.1.1 3G qualification.

Responsibilities

• Fit/adjust parts, tack and MIG weld steel to support production.
• Visually inspect welded components for defects and meet specs.
• Lay out and secure parts, read engineered drawings and symbols.
• Set up welding equipment and ensure welds meet standards.
