Join to apply for the Senior Welder 1st Shift role at Hyosung HICO LTD.

The Senior Welder will perform all welding on assemblies and components related to manufacturing power transformers. The role includes advising engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing personnel on technical inquiries, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and providing solutions related to tooling, machine setup, and quality concerns.

Essential Functions:

1. Perform welding duties as required.
2. Conduct weld repairs on incoming materials per NCR recommendations.
3. Set up fixtures, templates, and lay out products for complex assemblies with strict tolerances.
4. Explain technical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
5. Determine operation sequences when specifications are vague.
6. Troubleshoot issues with materials, parts, equipment, or products and implement corrective actions.
7. Ensure quality criteria are met through inspection and documentation.
8. Follow standard procedures, ensuring quality and productivity.
9. Practice 6S and adhere to safety guidelines.
10. Operate material handling equipment safely.
11. Assist in training new employees and developing training materials.
12. Participate in troubleshooting and corrective actions.
13. Support other manufacturing areas as needed.
14. Follow company policies and understand the importance of quality, safety, and environmental policies.
