Job Description:

Shift options:

1. 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
2. 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am

Summary:

The Robotic Welding Cell Set-up/Operator is responsible for daily setup and operation of a MIG welding robot, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. Responsibilities include assisting other operators, housekeeping, maintenance, and material staging.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate manual and robotic welding equipment.
• Read shop orders and drawings to determine specifications.
• Safely perform welds per specifications.
• Produce assemblies meeting quality and efficiency standards.
• Measure work pieces to ensure conformance.
• Perform quality checks and report issues.
• Document information accurately.
• Perform finishing functions like grinding and sanding.
• Maintain robotic systems and perform preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Develop and modify robotic path motions.
• Incorporate quality methods into work.
• Work independently with a positive work ethic.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Panasonic TA series MIG robots.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and quality focus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent attendance.

Education and Experience:

One-year certificate from college or technical school, 3-6 years related experience, or equivalent.
